I am going to start working in Denmark and need help with relocation

Moving abroad has long been a dream for me. For me, it will be a bit of an adventure and it will be exciting to try living in another country and experience their culture.

One thing I have realized is that there is a lot to think about when moving abroad. All countries have their own rules and laws and what applies in Finland does not always apply in other countries, regardless of whether they are a member of the European Union or not.

For example, just look at something like getting a place to live. I'm moving to Denmark and I have no idea how the housing market works there.

Will I need to pay a down payment and if so, how big should it be? Is there a type of municipal housing queue you should be registered in or is it private companies that rents out apartments there?

How do you get a bank account and a credit card? I have no idea how it works but it is something that must work otherwise it will be impossible to buy food, pay the bills and buy other things.

Another thing I have been thinking about is which authorities I have to contact and what kind of documentation I should send in? I'm guessing that the government in Portugal probably wants to know a few things about the people that move to their country.

There are many things that need to be solved when moving abroad so my employer has contacted a company that works with relocation services and can help me with muutto tanskaan. They offer assistance and help when moving abroad which feels good as I will not have to put all of my energy into trying to keep track of all the things that have to be resolved when I move.

It will be enough to process all the new impressions and information I will get once I have moved to Portugal and will live and work in a new country and a new culture.

Vi har precis gjort en företagsflytt av vårt kontor i Göteborg

Företaget som jag arbetar för har haft sitt kontor på Vasagatan i centrala Göteborg. För er som inte är från Sveriges framsida så kan jag säga att Vasagatan sträcker sig från Handelshögskolan upp till Röhsska museet och lite längre.

Vårt kontor har med andra ord legat väldigt centralt inne i Göteborg. Nu är det dock slut på det för vi har flyttat vårt kontor till nya lokaler som ligger vid Lundbyleden typ vid Lindholmen ungefär.

Det har haft sina fördelar att ha kontoret centralt. För de som åker kollektivt så har det funnits bra möjligheter att ta sig till och från jobbet och det är ju nära till det mesta när man sitter så centralt. Värre har det varit för de som kör bil till jobbet, det är inte direkt lätt att hitta parkering inne i stan och det är inte billigt att parkera heller för den delen.

Nu när vi flyttat ut till Lindholmen är parkeringen ett mindre problem men vissa som åker kollektivt kommer väl att få lite längre restid.

Våra nya lokaler är större, ljusare och faktiskt billigare än den lokalen vi hade när vi satt på Vasagatan. Det är dyrt att ha sitt kontor centralt.

I och med vår flytt så hade företaget anlitat en lokal flyttfirma som heter Vasaflytt, lite kul namn med tanke på att de hjälpte oss att flytta från just Vasagatan. De arbetar med företagsflytt i Göteborg och även med pianoflytt! Vet inte hur många pianon det flyttas i Göteborg under ett år men det är ju inget som man gör själv antar jag, ett piano är både stort, tungt och ömtåligt.

hur som helst de gjorde ett bra jobb med flytten, allt kom fram helt och de flyttade allt från vårt gamla kontor till de nya lokalerna vilket var skönt. En gång fick jag vara med och flytta ett kontor och det var tungt kan jag säga så jag är nöjd att jag slapp göra det den här gången.
